现代科学以启蒙的方式形成科技一体化的趋势，并对自然与社会产生新的控制。伽达默尔认为，科技发展虽然祛除了宗教的蒙昧，对现代文明的建构有着直接的贡献，但它在对文化和科学等领域的操控中规定了现代人的生活方式，甚至使现代社会处于深层的异化之中。因此，有必要通过实践理性的诉求对科技理性作内在的反思与批判。

Modern science forms gleichschaltung tendency of science and technology by means of enlightenment. It has caused new control to nature and society. Gadamer argues the development of technology drives out the obscuration of religion and makes direct contributions to the construction of modern civilization. But it formulates modern life style in the domination to the field of culture and science, it even leads to modern society be in the circumstance extreme alienation. Thus, we need apply practical reason to rethink and criticize the science and technology reason.
